....about stuff. AP Tests, P.E, Non AP research papers, him. It's really not healthy. Today was kinda fun, thogh. Actually, it was really fun. Cadence's birthday was amazing. Good food, good people....way awesome. It's like weekends are a temporary life that I have to interrupt with mundane things like studying. Why? I only feel like an actual person when I'm hanging out with friends or when I can muster up enough energy to ignore the multitude of obligations I have. But, the good thing is that I can not go to school on tuesday and thursday. T'will be another sorely needed break. It's amusing to me that I'm still on a break and yet can't wait for the next one. GAH.
zuruzuru zuruzuru.....can't stop dragging along. Eventually something will happen....
Thinking, Thinking, Thinking.
Yet doing nothing.

Frantic...in a lethargic sort of way
Well, in preparation for AP tests, I've taken to non-effective stressing out. The kind of stress where I focus constantly on what I have to do, but not actually do it. It's interesting. I can calmly sense my demise. But, it's okay because none of my teachers are preparing their classes for their respective AP tests, either. Seth (my government teacher) has made us come up with questions for a jeopardy style game that is doing very little to educate but, a lot to enflame the competitive spirit within me. And Arianne (my ridiculously stupid english teacher) has decided that now, the weeks before the English exam, is a perfect time for a Non AP style research paper. In comparison to last year I feel hilariously unprepared. At least Mr. Bristol (the only good AP teacher I've ever liked) is doing his part to teach me for the AP Statistics exam. Even so, that one will prove to be the hardest one. Actually, it's a toss up between that and Government. I was staring at my review book today. AP United States Government. Just staring at it......for about 15 minutes. And then I decided it was too much work and went back to playing games on the computer. Life is so much easier when you lack motivation....

Day of Silence!
Day of Silence was amazing. 60 or so kids signed up to take a vow of silence that lasted throughout the school day. Our message was a simple protest against intolerance and homophobia. It felt like a really positive step because everyone noticed that the GSA is making an impact. During lunch, the people who could all sat togther on the quad ( notice the picture)
and the feeling that i got from everyone was really powerful. We really made a statement. All without saying a single word.

Thes. Fest was fun. I'm not as wonderful as I thought I was...
and this is rather disillusioning. I went and performed the same song that I performed last year and got a worse score. I was unprepared but, thought I could fudge it and be good anyways. It always hurts to find out that you're not special. But, whatever. The song that I intended to do for some reason didn't have a background track so, I had to resort to some tired old tricks that apparently didn't work for me. Even so, I'm most likely not going to do musical theater any longer. I just don't have the heart ( or self esteem. ha!). This is just sort of the icing on the cake of mediocrity, really. At least the times that were not related to competing were fun. I got to meet some awesome people and see some really awesome performances. Plus, there was this intense dance workshop that made me realize how much I like dancing. So, that was cool. It was definitely worth going, I just wish I had been more prepared.

It was colonel mustard in the conservatory with the lead pipe...
Birthday parties with a theme are pretty much the most amazing things ever. I just went to a party with the lights turned out. I was Brigadier blackburn....it was awesome. Colonel Mustard, Corporal Copper, Mrs. Peacock etc. Real and made up clue people abound. The night progressed with games in the dark and awkward noises....
ah the wonders of drama.
I've just realized that my posts are all really short
i should really do something about that
oh well

Dad's house and freedom
Ahhhhhhh....
spring break is transcendent bliss...
I am now at my dad's house which means awesome cushy goodness.
I get to sleep in my own room. I get cable t.v. I get internet that always works. Materialism is so much fun. I honestly cannot express how comfortable I am. Also, how little i want to go back to school. Too bad this has to end....

It's over with
Drama, that is.
I'm essentially done with performing with the Nipomo High School Theater troupe. I'm SO glad I chose not to do Urinetown. Best of Disney went really well, I believe. After the Cal State thespian festival, I'm done with musical theater. At least for a while. I am most likely going to try to get into community something or other in San Fran. with my schedule permitting, of course. I can't wait until college.
